An Abundance of Grapes in Overland Park Vineyard

The one and only Overland Park vineyard and winery is Aubrey Vineyards. At this premier Overland Park vineyard and winery you will find an abundance of grapes. Aubrey Vineyards is located at 163rd and Kenneth Road on 200 acres of lush farm land surrounded by a variety of high-quality grapes.

The Mid-Western Varietals include:

  • Catawba
  • Traminette
  • Vidal Blanc
  • Vignoles Blush

Aubrey Vineyards also has a fun blend of wines called the Trail Rider collection.

The Trail Rider collection includes:

  •  Trail Rider Red, which is a red wine blend of mostly concord grapes.
  •  Trail Rider White blend, which is reminiscent of the finest of Rieslings.
  •  Trail Rider Rose', which is a semi sweet wine with heavenly cherry flavors.

Any of these varieties are perfect for year round celebrations as well as casual encounters.

While California leads the wine industry as the most popular in the U.S, many don't know that Kansas has a history of once being the largest grape growing and wine making region in the U.S. Aubrey Vineyards seeks to bring that history back to today's reality with not only the finest of blends and Mid Western varieties, but the vineyard also has a premier collection.

The Premier collection of grapes at Aubrey Vineyards include:

  • Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Chambourcin
  • Chardonnay
  • Tawny

Beyond the abundance of grapes, this Overland Park Vineyard also produces pure honey wine from local honey and apple wine also produced locally. The apple wine is currently Aubrey Vineyards most popular wine, adored by both red and white wine drinkers alike. It has a refreshing, light flavor with a crisp finish reminiscent to the peel of an apple. Not too sweet and the perfect balance of  tartness, the apple wine pairs well with Kansas City BBQ.

Many are anticipating the grand opening of Aubrey Vineyards and look forward to frolicking amongst the abundance of grapes.
