  Aubrey Vineyards will be one of more than 15 other featured vineyards at Winesong at Riverfest this year. The wine event will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 3pm-7pm. Ticket cost is only $25 per person and includes a 2016 Winesong souvenir wine glass, wine tastings, and appetizers. There will be wonderful wines to try and wonderful wines to buy. Catawba and White Cheddar Omelet with Pancetta and Red bell peppers     The wine and recipe of the week is Catawba (kuh-tah-buh)  and White Cheddar Omelet with Pancetta and Red bell peppers .   Catawba is an Overland Park semi-dry wine by Aubrey Vineyards.   You don’t see many wines of its color but the gorgeous light orange color is actually the original Catawba grape coloring after wine production.   Catawba has light aromas of honey and pear, with a blood orange finish. Fun at the Lenexa Art Fair Wine Event   On Saturday, May 7th 2016, Aubrey Vineyards attended the Lenexa Art Fair as one of the many participating wineries at the event. Hundreds of attendees were able to sample local wines from the first and only vineyard in Overland Park, Kansas. It was a beautiful, sunny day and live jazz filled the air while guests visited the many tents filled with talented exhibitors, wineries, and breweries.
